I retired from Illinois State University after 38 years of teaching to pursue something I have always wanted to do. My wife was in the Real Estate business buying and rehabbed houses and duplexes. We then went in business together and over the past 15 years we have bought and rehabbed houses in Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas and Southern Alabama (8 miles from the Gulf near Orange Beach).. We decided that we wanted to take our Real Estate to another level. To buy,rehab, refinance and rent. We now are looking to put our team together to continue our new direction. The area we want to invest in is Mobile Alabama. We are looking at putting a team together consisting of realtor who specializes in houses with rental potential. A Contractor who has experience bringing run down properties in good neighbors to a good rental condition and doing it quickly, A money /mortgage person who understands mortgage and refinancing income properties. And a property manager who has experience in managing new rehab rentals.
