Experience: Been following Jacksonville Fl market for a while then my wife and I took the plunge 2017 and bought a SFR with a new tenant. I know we got lucky with this but we bought our second a few months later. We're trying to copy our formula. Update 2019: We have 10 rentals and that was the magic number. We both quit our jobs and jumped in the RV and spent 3 months crossing the US to Florida. Update 2021: overall we have fantastic tenants that kept working thru the pandemic. We have our house that we are renovating. Real Estate Goals: Hope to have enough rentals to support us retiring in a couple years. Maybe early! DONE! We may try flipping now that we are in Jacksonville FL Currently Seeking: Good advice!
