Married 25 yrs, with two daughters. Fire fighter '93-'03. In '03 I left fire dept to concentrate on my construction business full time, and now shifting to investing full time. Experience: Rode the building wave through '07 as a custom home builder. After the recession hit I was able (forced) to scratch the itch I've always had for investment property. My wife and business partner had a good job, we had good credit, favorable market conditions to take advantage of, and with my construction background, we were able to start out on our new venture in real estate investing. We started with SFD's in mid to lower market neighborhoods with a mixture of flips and holds trying to find the best fit. After a few years of successful SFD's and a small five unit town home complex, I started to pursue more of the commercial side of the investment world. We purchased a small self storage facility in '12, a 16 unit multi family in '13, and 20 unit multi family in '14. Everything we purchased had issues that needed curing and that has been where we've been able to create the equity needed to move onto the next project. Real Estate Goals: Financial independence and wealth building with the ability to coach/encourage others in their ventures. Currently Seeking: Continued growth
