Hi, I’m Jeff Twigg. I’m a second-generation realtor with a passion for selling homes and investing in the Sarasota and Venice community. It’s not just in my heart, it’s in my blood. From an early age, my dad taught me the value of hard work and integrity. I started my involvement in the real estate business by stuffing envelopes and welcoming visitors to open houses with a plate of warm cookies. After earning my bachelor’s degree at the University of Central Florida in management information systems, I ended up back in Sarasota County during the financial meltdown. In what was one of the most difficult times in the real estate business, I learned the power of perseverance and having a vision for success. As the market improved, my business grew. Helping my mom achieve her dream of earning her real estate license is one of my proudest accomplishments. I was able to bring her on as part of my team and guide her in helping 3 people purchase homes in her first 6 months of business. Both personally and as a real estate agent, I strive to follow these values: Integrity: My number one duty is to protect the consumer. I believe in doing the right thing, even when no one is looking. Community: Quality of life and real estate values are correlated. Every home owned is a piece of the community. I take great pride in being part of it. Authenticity: I consistently work on being the best me that I can be, while becoming more knowledgeable and finding better ways to serve people. Contribution and growth: As a member of Big Brothers Big Sisters, I am a big brother to an 8 year old boy in Venice. I am also on the development committee for Sarasota Habitat for Humanity. I am extensively involved in my church and raise money for missions as well as The Salvation Army. Learning: I am a member of BNI (Business Network International) as well as the education coordinator for my Sarasota chapter. This is a position I volunteer for and enjoy. I love continually challenging myself through public speaking and learning how to better support local businesspeople. I am also an avid reader (I aim to read 50 books every year) and love listening to podcasts that expand my mind & help me see other points of view. I belong to multiple mastermind groups, and I attend seminars and conferences around the country a few times a year. My wife calls me a nerd, and she’s probably right. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Tiffany. She’s the best thing that ever happened to me and she makes me a better person. I also cherish time with the rest of my family and my rescue dog Beasley, who I am often known to dress up in fun outfits for family dinners (much to her dismay). I believe peanut butter is its own food group, and I delight in putting it on just about everything I eat. When I’m off the clock, you will often find me at Oscar Scherer State Park or Myakka State Park where I can be found kayaking, fishing, and running trails. As your Sarasota County real estate agent, I will put my many years of real estate experience and instinct to work for you. I am proud to be a longtime resident of this community, and my roots run deep.
