Hi! My husband and business partner, Skyler, (also on the Bigger Pockets forum) brought me here. We purchased our first multi-family property in May of 2017 and our second in January of 2018, both in Chicago. Our plan is to continue to purchase muilt-family and/or commercial properties and build passive income to sustain us and our future family. Experience: I am a Commercial Real Estate Property Manager in Downtown Chicago and have been in the Commercial Real Estate industry working for a premier RE developer, investor, and manager for over 10 years. This is my first foray into the residential RE market. Real Estate Goals: My goal is to obtain financial freedom while becoming my own boss, to learn how to create value to my portfolio as well as the community in which my properties are owned, and empowering others to do the same. I am also looking to get my RE broker's license. Currently Seeking: I'd love to find a mentor who is familiar with the Chicago market as well as other markets such as Costa Rica. I'm also looking for a CPA and RE attorney who specializes in LL/Tenant laws in Chicago.
