I am a middle school science teacher, soccer coach, and newbie investor looking to connect with others, invest in real estate and jump start my path to financial freedom! I recently got engaged and my fiancé and I are committed to long-distance real invest investing. I have a primary residence in Dublin, CA and have been diligent with investing in stock (mainly index funds). However, I am looking to expand and diversify my investment portfolio with real estate and buy-and-hold properties using the BRRRR method. I am looking to invest in the regions near Texas and Alabama using the BRRRR method. Specific regions I am interested in are Huntsville, Alabama and Forth Worth, Texas. At the moment, I am looking for value-add SFRs but eventually want to invest in multifamily properties. I consider myself a lifelong learner and while I will always keep an open mind, I am looking to take action and gain experience through getting things done. I plan on using a HELOC and hard money for my deals and am looking to build a team as soon as possible. I am open to partnerships and will never turn down an opportunity to learn/collaborate.
