Jim Grutkowski

I am the Father of two amazing girls, homeowner in Conroe, Texas, fitness enthusiast, Crossfitter, committed to continuous learning and personal development, and have the goal of achieving lasting financial freedom. I am a practicing CPA and former finance executive (CFO/VP) with some experience as a real estate investor both passive and active (single-family, multi, commercial). I recently opened a CPA firm JimGrutkowskiCPA.com or YourSmallBiz.com. Our mission is to help individuals and small businesses achieve their financial goals without the burdensome expense of a large Accounting department. As a side to that I have decided to explore and pursue real estate investing in depth. I joined Bigger Pockets to expand my knowledge of real estate, broaden my network, and put me in position to make the right deal. My current emphasis is on small multi-family homes but will also be pursuing both real estate agent and mortgage broker licenses to help create a stronger foundation for my RE business. My goal is to successfully complete my first small MF deal by end of Q1 2019.
