Born and raised in the great state of Iowa. I’m a licensed real estate agent in Iowa, focused on helping short-term rental investors find their next high-performing property—whether here in Iowa or anywhere across the country. I’m well-connected with some of the best STR-focused agents nationwide and love helping investors build portfolios with purpose. I also own and operate 13 unique vacation rental properties across Kentucky, Ohio, and Georgia under our brand The Hideaways, where we specialize in curating one-of-a-kind, experiential stays that stand out in today’s saturated market. I host The Hideaways Show, a podcast dedicated to helping others learn how to create unforgettable STR experiences. My background includes a degree from Iowa State University (Go Cyclones!) and a career in Corporate America, but once our first child was born, I realized I didn’t want to follow the traditional path of working 30 more years to retire “comfortably” at 60. Real estate investing offered a different path—one filled with freedom, creativity, and flexibility. Now, we’re actively building more unique properties and adding high-impact amenities to our existing portfolio. I believe uniqueness, intentional design, and strong social media marketing are the keys to success in the short-term rental space—now and into the future. For fun, I’m all about sports, entrepreneurship, personal development books, spending quality time with family, binge-watching a good show, and mixing up a solid old fashioned on the weekends.
