I got the real estate investment bug in 2017 and started to educate myself (thank you biggerpockets podcasts). I have never paid for a mentor or class, it has all be done thru networking, podcasts, books (very little lol), and trial and error (this becomes costly). I have flipped close to $2 million worth of real estate in Orlando, Fl, while holding down a full-time job. Unfortunately, or should I say fortunately for me I was laid off from my 9 to 5 job on July 3, 2020. I have now dedicated myself to doing real estate full-time. I have built a solid relationship with realtors, brokers, hard-money lenders, and fellow investors that gives me the confidence I need to hopefully never return to a cubicle. I know you should never say never, but I'm sure as heck going to try to keep this promise to myself.
