Marine Corps Veteran starting out in a career in real estate investing. Once I got home I fell on hard times and lost everything all while becoming a father and gaining everything. Knew I had to do something, discovered real estate investing and not only was I immediately drawn to it but I instantly made some very positive connections in the community and felt part of a "tribe". I got into the game knowing NOTHING about it..and the more I learn the more my curiosity and passion grows for it! Experience: 2 deals under my belt. 6 year of being an owner/occupant managing everything Working full time, still in the Marine Corps reserves, currently seeking my mortgage brokers license. Real Estate Goals: 1 property a year minimum. Being a formerly homeless veteran I would love to be able to provide and help veterans find available housing for themselves and their families. Not only from a landlord perspective but that is also what I plan to do being a broker. Currently Seeking: A house hack. Seeking a 3-4 unit multi-family home in the Chicago-land area.
