Silicon Valley tech entrepreneur, getting into real estate for investment/retirement. Looking for multi-family homes (mostly duplex/triplex/quadplex) in the Bay Area but also in Dallas and Jacksonville. Experience: I have bought and sold multiple personal homes as we moved from Los Angeles to Boston back to Los Angeles and now San Jose, but no investment properties yet. Real Estate Goals: I'd like to purchase my first multi-family property before the end of 2017. In 2018 I'd like to purchase 2-3 more. Every year thereafter I'd like to add 3+ more. Currently Seeking: Looking for multi-families (although considering larger apartments) in the Bay Area, Dallas and Jacksonville. Also trying to find a good real estate lawyer and accountant in the South Bay if possible.
