I am brand new to real estate. I have read How to Invest in Real Estate and I am reading Investing In Real Estate With No (and low) Money Down and Rental Property Investing. I have The Book on Estimating Rehab Cost on stand by. Truth be told I am the scared and really nervous one when it comes to something new, especially something like this; INVESTMENT. Reading the books has given me come confidence to try Investing into Real Estate but so many questions pop up in my head that I feel like I am not ready for this. Should I do a flip, rental, short- term rental etc? Should I use my money on the rehab or down payment? All types of questions continue rolling through my mind. I have used the tools here on Bigger Pockets.com but then when I find a property that look promising, I ask myself "Are the numbers too good to be true?" "Did I enter the right information?".... Even after all that, I know I still want to do this. I know with the right knowledge and hands on experience and even some great help, I can get this. It's just the "Start" that I am hesitating on. Any advice and/or encouragement will be highly appreciated. I hope in the near future, I can change this whole "About Myself" section with a more confidence statement but until then, this is me. I look forward talking to you all and hopefully working and learning from some of you. -Jose M
