Leidy and I currently reside in the Bronx, which is one of the five boroughs of New York. Leidy currently works for Bank of America as a small business banker and I was Client Solution Executive for AT&T. When were not working we love spending time with friends and family doing a variety of social activities in the big Apple. It’s funny how we came across bigger pockets, about a year ago my cousin told me to check the bigger pockets site out when I had some spare time since we were always engaged in real estate investing conversations. I immediately went online and signed up for a free membership but didn’t take much action after that. We then purchased our first property in November 2016 and made all the mistakes newbie investors make. For instance, paying too much for a property because of a hot market, spending too much on renovation for a rental property, not finding the right contractors and the list goes on. Mid January 2017 I was reading an article (Or Instrgram post) on how to maximize time while in your car by listening to podcast from Gary V and immediately pivoted to downloading podcast that matched our goals and vision. After listening to our first BP podcast we were immediately hooked and knew we were on too something. We are extremely grateful for the BP community and are excited in becoming active members and contributors.
