After fifteen years of wayfaring, I recently moved back to my hometown of Austin to start a real estate investment business alongside friends and family. My journey into the business was unintentional in that I looked up one day and realized that real estate exists at the intersection of several areas of personal interest and conviction. Regarding interests, it affords endless opportunity for problem solving, and it is highly relational. As for conviction, real estate investment (if done well) provides an important service at a critical point of human need; namely, shelter. I've remodeled and flipped a number of houses and am interested in growing the business to include longterm holds.
