I am an Electrician looking to change careers over time to a full time real estate investor, I have been reading for some time now and I am only a couple months away from pulling the trigger on my first home with a basement suit as a start. Hopefully a couple years down the road I will have enough of a portfolio of rental houses to exit the trades industry for good. My first plan is to aquire a house with more than one suit and hopefully the snowball effect will allow me to buy my next house in less time, and the one after that in even less time, and so on. Once this becomes successful I may be open to flip or any other form of investing that I do not have knowledge with yet.
