My husband, Mario, and I are working towards beginning our investing venture in Real Estate. I am currently looking to become an agent as well. In 2008, I graduated from La Salle University with a Business degree and worked for corporate America for 3 years to realize that's not what I wanted, to then becoming an Elementary school teacher for the past 7 years. Mario and I, had our first baby in July 2016 and after only a few weeks of going back to work I quickly realized I needed to be home with the baby. For the past 3 years we knew we wanted to invest in properties. but didn't know how to begin. Mario learned about the Real State business through a small cleaning company that he runs where many of his clients are in the business. Mario became intrigued by what's possible so he began to search the web, and came across Bigger Pockets, which has given us a road map to beginning our journey. We bought our home in 2008, our first bad deal. We are in the process of remodeling the entire house and have been doing so for the past 9 years. This house has become our teaching ground (for what not to do).
