I had one rental property for five years. Closed on a tri-plex in Roanoke, VA in August 2021. Listed one of the units on Furnished Finder for traveling nurses in February 2022 - that is going great! Listed a 2nd unit in Furnish Finder in July and that too is going great. My project management skills used at my W2 job came in handy during refurbish projects. I'm doing the property management on my own this time. Researched apps to assist with that. Settled on RentRedi. However, the tenants prefer writing checks or paying via Venmo. That works fine with only 3 apartments. I'll have to insist on renters using RentRedi as I grow.
