Hi BP Community! Thank you for your existence! I feel like I've found out where all the cool kids hang out! ;) You all are so inspiring! I grew up with a single-parent (mother) flipping houses and moving each year after the improvements. Naturally, I attempted to follow her footsteps in the bigger city of Minneapolis! I ended up in my current landlord-ship role due to the 2008 housing bubble burst, where I became “stuck” with a property. Five years later, I can say this “back-up plan” was a blessing. It’s cash flowing nicely and no amount of money can substitute the knowledge (and confidence) I have gained here! I'm ready to take it to the next level by another rental property to my portfolio, at one per year (at minimum). I also want the experience to flip at house with my mom. I'm very interested in connecting with locals around Mankato, MN (within 80 miles south of Twin Cities, MN) and there isn’t a group around here yet!
