Experience: I have little experience thus far in the REI space. I do currently own one rental that was a previous residence of mine. It turned out to be a great investment and has been a rental for over 2 years now. The property is located in Washington State and unfortunately I have since moved to Maryland but continue to manage the property myself. I purchased another home in MD that I intend to rent out when I move in approximately 2 years. Neither house was purchased from a strictly investment standpoint but there was some thought as to the rent-ability (if that’s a word) when I have to move on due to Military obligations. Real Estate Goals: My current goal is to slowly build a buy and hold rental portfolio of smart investments. Since I am active duty military I am not looking to start a career but simply build a portfolio that gives me options when I decide to get out or retire from the military. Currently Seeking: I am simply seeking to grow my knowledge of REI, explore all of my options and create a plan moving forward that best suits my current situation and the next several years of my life.
