I am a happily married, broke professional. I follow my dreams, and become easily addicted to my passions and hobbies. I currently enjoy working out, rock climbing, hiking, travel, and occasional adventure-seeking. My only experience in real estate is trying to buy a house spring 2014. We were pre-approved to buy, went through months of searching and making offers, getting all our records together, etc. we paid for an inspection on our top choice, that had accepted our offer, as well as a deposit. When we went to sign the final mortgage paperwork, we were denied. We thought we had done everything right, went with referrals, and we're very up front about our finances. As a result, we are still bummin it in our 1-bedroom apartment, looking to try again this fall. My husband and I are most interested in freeing up our time down the road to spend with family, including our 3 grand-babies who live in another state. I want to learn everything about real estate investing that I can.
