I am a Charted Accountant and software developer who is passionate about real estate investing and teaching others how to buy profitable properties. Started investing in 2020 as a new immigrant working a regular office job. I went from 0-15 units in less than 18 months and now I own a portfolio that generates half a million dollars in rent annually. My first property was a duplex which really schooled me about real estate investing. I house-hacked, fixed it up to some extent because I got let down a few times by contractors and trades. Yes I now know how to do LVP flooring, hook up a toilet, install blinds list goes on. Not fully confident and knowledgeable about what I was doing, I hired a mentor who taught me about BRRRRs. I did this on the first house pulled out $160k in equity and bought 2 and have been repeating the process ever since.
