Hi, My husband and I are interested in multifamily investing. We would like to use it as a way to generate passive long term income. Additionally, we are considering moving to the Midwest (Madison, WI or Minneapolis, MN) and view it as an opportunity to get to know the various communities before buying a SFH. We would live in one unit for a year or so until we found the right neighborhood to buy our SFH. I am confident in my ability to market the property and preform leasing agreements, bringing fundamental marketing, sales, and branding strategies from my previous career. My husband is very mechanically inclined and will provide basic repair and routine maintenance. I am hoping to learn more of the ins and outs regarding loans as that will likely be a bit of a challenge.
