I own NoteRehabber, LLC. We specialize in buying defaulted debt from banks and hedge funds. This allows us to buy the asset at steep discounts and then try to work with the borrower so we can keep them in their home while at the same time seeing nice returns on the investment. If the borrower can't or refuses to work with us we simply continue with the foreclosure process and make our profits at the courthouse auctions, retail sale, turning it into a turnkey rental, owner financing it to another borrower, making it an Airbnb, etc...
