My husband and I both have day jobs, I am an engineer and he is a teacher. We just purchased our first investment property, a Class A, buy and hold single family home in our local area. We paid cash and plan to use our own money and BRRRR to continue to grow our portfolio. We got our initial capital from flipping our primary residence after a natural disaster and maintain over a 50% savings rate from our w2 income.
