Margaret Hester

Iwas born and raised in Savannah, Ga. At the age of 18 I join the United States Air Force. My first 10 years of service I worked as a Supply Technician. I did have a break in service in the late 1990's, at which time I went to work for Exxon Company USA driving a forklift loading trucks which different kinds of oil products. After working there for about 6 months the opportunity to transfer and become the first woman to work on the asphalt side manufacturing asphalt and loading the truck for distribution all over the USA. After a year and half I left Exxon to go work at Mallinckrodt Chemical company the leading manufacture of acetaminophen. There I worked as a chemical operator producing acetaminophen. After 2 years I went back into the Air Force as a EMT Technician. In 2000 I was medical retired due to the loss of my eye sight. I am married to Diana Yliz and we have 1 dog and 2 cats.
