Matthew Nelson

I am a 45 year old male that is 100 % debt free and much more at home on a trail somewhere rather in a cubicle. I quit my job as a project manager for a commercial contractor, sold my house (and most of my possessions) and traded in my truck for a extended van. I turned the van into a tiny house on wheels (kinda) and am currently putting the finishing touches on it before I embark on a solo traveling adventure of the Western US. Hiking, biking, skiing and amazing vistas will be my "job" for the rest of the year. Having an amazingly supportive girlfriend and no kids makes scratching this wanderlust itch even possible. Losing my mom to breast cancer last year lit a fire within me to quit doing what I don't like and start doing what i do. Do what you like-like what you do! I have a 2 year degree in architectural drafting/design. I have a BS in Construction Management. I have just passed the MN general contractors exam. I also plan to get my house inspection certification. I am kicking around the idea of my realtors license as well.
