I am active duty military stationed in the panhandle area of Northwest Florida. My wife is a real estate agent, and we have been investing in the area for about 4 years. We have a total of 29 units under control, personally owning 12 units, and we syndicated to purchase a 17 unit complex. Our units consist of 2 SFRs in Crestview, 1 SFR in Destin, 1 SFR in Miramar beach, an 8 unit complex in Valparaiso, and a 17 unit in Shalimar. We bought the first Crestview property in September of 2015, and got hooked and have since been committed to building our portfolio. Real Estate Goals: Our real estate goals revolve around achieving financial freedom by matching my military salary with passive real estate income, while minimizing risk. Currently Seeking: We are currently dedicated to scaling our portfolio by acquiring apartment buildings, using either personal funds or syndications.
