Experience: I purchased my first property, a townhome in Fremont, CA in 1994 at the ripe age of 24 years old. :) Between now and then, I missed the boat. My mom encouraged me to purchase more in Fremont and Pleasanton/Livermore areas, but I let fear and the busy-ness of life with a commute into the Silicon Valley be the obstacle. Now, things are different. I'm preparing to invest and when I find great value then I can go for it! Real Estate Goals: Invest possibly in the Merced area - SFRs, duplex and multi-family, commercial units. My son is 5 years old and I'm going to teach him investing skills when age-appropriate. BTW, he is learning business skills from me with his See's lollypop business. His top sales reps are his maternal grandpa and me. Currently Seeking: Connecting and sharing with others - seasoned/veteran investors, newbies who are investing rock stars, and those in my similar situation. I network with all! :)
