When I became a real estate agent two years ago, my father decided to trust me with the process of purchasing his first investment property. Not only did I take on the role of agent for him, but I also was the "project manager" for his flips. I contacted the contractors, made the design decisions, visited the property to check progress, etc. After that project, I knew that one day I would become an investor myself. Even after the stress and headaches flipping homes caused, I still enjoyed it. Me and my husband's goal is to purchase our first rental investment home by the end of 2018. We are diligently working to make that happen and in the meantime, taking in as much knowledge and advice as we can get!
