Newbie investor interested in buy and hold properties, and multi-family properties. House hacked my first deal in Baltimore, MD, beginning May, 2019. Next Deal: Looking for a value-add SFH in the Greater Baltimore Area. I'm a structural-bridge engineer who is new to REI, and focused on landlording. My main focus right now is educating myself (podcasts, books, meet-ups) and working towards my first true buy and hold property (I'm not counting my house hack as my first one). I've also taken interest in multi-family property, and have begun educating myself in that field as well. My aim is to gain experience owning/managing SFH's before committing my focus more towards larger, multi-family properties. I aspire to eventually have a diversified portfolio of SFH's and apartments.
