I became an unintentional landlord about 5 years ago when I needed to move, but had no ability to sell my underwater condo. It really demystified the idea. I have an office job and would love to build some independent and passive income through real estate and was really inspired by a family I met on vacation a few months back. They were traveling for 11 months and they could do all this because they lived off of rental incomes and paid a full time property manager. I'd love to do the same.
