Hello BP Community, I'm completely new to real estate and really looking forward to buying my first rental property. I've been reading books, watching webinars & YouTube videos, and reading forums. My investment interests include the following... Property Type: Multifamily 2-4 Units Investment Strategy: Buy and hold or maybe BRRR Property Condition: Something that doesn't require extensive repair, maybe rent ready but room for improvement / ability to add forced appreciation without costing an arm and a leg. Price Range: I feel like a realistic range for me may be between $100,000 - $350,000... Location: Greater Chicago Area (Burbs included) - More specifically the south, west and southwest side. Neighborhood Type: B, maybe C or C+ Goal: My immediate goal is to just get started by purchasing a property, getting it rented out, learning the ropes and making a profit. With that said, the end goal is to become completely financially independent at some point in the not so distant future. At this point I'm dying to get off the sidelines and into the game, however, I feel like I don't know where to start. I'm hoping to make some great connections who may be able to provide some guidance as I embark on my rental property investment journey. Kind regards, Mike
