I spent the first 10 years of my professional career with Speedway Convenience stores holding many different positions through the years which taught me the importance of modeling and analytics. It was during this time that I got the Real Estate itch and I bought my first single family rental. I was blessed with a son and I wanted to ensure I would have enough time in my life to spend with my family and watch my kids grow up. I then moved on to Adrian Steel where I was a Regional and then National Sales Manager. I was able to work closely with our President who was an expert in Lean Manufacturing and embracing Lean Principles in all aspects of business. Everything we did followed basic PDCA principles (Plan, Do, Check, Adjust). All systems and processes should always be improving with each day, month and year of experience. Through the years, I have bought and sold 6 single family rentals, an 18 unit apartment building and we currently own a 23 unit apartment building. I have grown to love apartment investing and the opportunity presented itself to take the Vice President of Acquisitions and Dispositions for large multifamily real estate investment firm. While only working there a short period of time, I learned so much from so many great people about the industry. Recently, my partner and I purchased a Property Management Company in July, 2020. We aim to reset the standard for Property Management, offering investors a whole new level of knowledge and expertise, helping them to achieve their financial freedom goals. It has been a life's dream come true to help others while also being in complete control of my financial destiny. I want to help others achieve that same dream! I completed my MBA in 2013 from the University of Dayton and I have 10 years management experience for a large convenience store chain where I managed the capital budget and real estate projects for the Midwest.
