I just recently moved to the Jacksonville area. I was looking for a place to start my real estate investing and settled on Jax. My first goal is to find a property that I can house hack, preferably a duplex. So far it has been a task finding owners who are willing to accept a FHA loan to purchase their property. Most people/investors in Jax seem only to be interested in selling multiple properties at once. As soon as I can accomplish purchasing my first property I will be jumping head first into the BRRRR strategy. If all goes well 3 properties in my first year and a half is a very realistic goal for me.
