Paige A Vaughan

Hi everyone! My name is Paige! I recently graduated from ECU with a BA in English and was attending NC State for my MA to become a professor. I was having doubts about whether or not I really wanted to work in academia (so much bureaucracy and job insecurity!) and started spending a lot of my time thinking about how I could make money doing something I love and creating more time for myself. That's when my boyfriend, Jeff, introduced me to the book Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. I became absorbed with the idea of financial independence and gaining passive income. I never really thought that I would be interested in real estate but the idea of investing that would make my money work for me appealed to me! Since then, we have been consuming all kinds of books about real estate, networking with people, analyzing deals, and going to conferences.
