About myself
I’m a professional trumpet player and composer, and run the jazz program at Michigan Technological University as a tenured professor there. I run an 18 piece orchestra (the Adam Meckler Orchestra) among other groups. I’m also the CEO of the gig organizer and financial tracker tool built for freelance musicians and band leaders, Gig Boss. Gig Boss is an app on iOS and Android platforms. My wife (also a professional musician) and I started Gig Boss together in 2017.
