Update (09/22/2018): Picked myself up, and moved north, to Deerpark, Orange County! Best decision I've ever made! :) I now live in the northwest corner of Orange County, NY... 10 minutes by car south of Sullivan County/The Catskills, NY... and about a 20 minute drive from both Pike County, PA and Sussex County, NJ. Original Post: Just a guy in Brooklyn, NY who has struggled for almost 10 years (!!!) to build a wholesaling business (for starters, then branching out to more "creative" type real estate investing [i.e. "subject-to's, lease-options, etc.]), and I haven't had ANY luck. Nor can I seem to find ANYONE from the NYC area who has. I am not looking for an excuse for failure, but I can't help but wonder if "quick-turn"/Ron LeGrand/Cris Chico style real estate just is not possible in the NYC area (meaning the four boroughs OUTSIDE Manhattan [i.e. Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens & the Bronx]). I am open TO ALL Suggestions and Advice!!! Thank you. :)
