Jay Batista

Hello BP!!! My name is Jesus "Jay" Batista and I have been a fan of Biggerpockets for years now. I listened to BP Podcast back when it was Josh and Brandon and listened to countless webinars and 90 day intention goal setting in the last 4-5 years since I first stumbled onto BP. I always felt that Real Estate was a bit out of reach, but little did I know the power of taking small incremental steps toward my future. When I first stumbled on to BP I was the only person in my circle thinking about Real Estate & Passive income (always thinking it was out of reach at the time); However, 5 Years later I have a Fiancee who is my biggest supporter in Real Estate. Her brother is a contractor and investor himself. My sister in-law is A Real Estate Agent, my Closest Cousins & Best friends both became Real Estate Investors. Before I knew it I was surrounded my people all working and interested in Real Estate in many different ways. Which got me to say "Wait a minute... This means I'm falling behind!". So I acted fast an in 2019 I decided to jump into Real Estate by first getting my Agent's License. Now in early 2020 (its only 11 days into 2020 as I write this) I have my first 4-plex under contract with plans to house hack towards my financial freedom. As an Agent, I will be specializing specifically in Multi-Family & Residential Investment Properties. I'm already hearing positive feedback in my new business due to 5 years of gobbling up all the content BP has to offer. I'm now in the trenches along with millions of other investors, and I think because I am an investor like so many of you on here I will truly understand and know the needs of other investors.
