Richard Belgado

Hi BP community! I’m Richard Belgado, and am a Per Diem ICU RN in San Francisco, CA. I am just getting into real estate. I’m currently using this extra time during the pandemic to learn the different facets of real estate, business, economics and the like. I am looking into investing/house-hacking in SFR and/or MFR and growing from there (BRRRR and buy and hold). My overall goal is to gain financial independence so I can focus my time on global health, which has been a goal of mine since college and after obtaining my global health certificate. I am currently looking into the Seattle/Tacoma and Olympia, WA area as my first property is over there. In addition, I’m looking into the Triangle Area, NC (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill) as a lot of my family live there. Also, looking into Milwaukee/Madison, WI. Serious hobbies of mine include sailing (working on my USCG captain’s license), hiking, traveling/flashpacking, foreign languages, motorcycling. I’ve been volunteering in Habitat for Humanity, food banks, and Rock Medicine (volunteer medical for music and large events). Looking forward to meeting and contributing to the community!
