I am currently a Full time Civil Engineer that has recently gotten into network marketing, started reading books to develop myself, and I am now looking to jump into the real estate world Experience: Limited experience. I have just closed on my first property, set to be an owner-occupied duplex with long term rental plans. My next step is to find a somewhat distressed single-family/townhouse to get at a good deal and get the repairs done all with creative financing and refi out for long term cashflow. I have zero experience in real estate rehab and I am looking for someone to ride the coattails! I am needing to learn the in's and out's of this portion of REI!!! (updated January 2018) Real Estate Goals: Create passive sustainable residual. In the short term I would like to get my first distressed property under my belt and grow from there! I am needing to learn the basics for rehab to increase my knowledge going forward! Currently Seeking: Any and all advice Maybe a partnership? I don't have a ton of accessible capital, but I have a burning desire to succeed.
