Hi Everyone! I love the amount of practical knowledge given by other BP'ers on this site. This site is the encyclopedia of Real Estate investment..simply awesome! Love it!!! My story: my husband and I were home builders up until the housing crash. After picking ourselves up and dusting ourselves off, we bought our first single family foreclosure which we flipped, but over improved and made very little profit on it. Then in July of 2011, we bought a HUD foreclosure, fixed it up and rented it out. We now have three rental townhouses which are doing very well.
