I am eager to get something going in 2026, but I am not sure which avenue to take. I have two REIT investments I started using funds from my IRA, one back in 2022 and one in 2023. Small gains being made quarterly, but it was a start to help me better understand investing. End of last year I began looking into to purchasing a multifamily property using a VA loan, but location has been a problem for me since I would have to occupy for at least 12 months. I would love to find people who can guide me in the right direction whether to continue down the path of purchasing my first rental property, investing with partners, or any other investment opportunities to compound and receive bigger gains than the REIT's.
