So carpenter wasn’t in the occupation section, but I do a lot of handyman work; primarily it seems for vacation rental properties. I recently moved back to WA from Hilton Head Island SC in July 2020. I’m interested in real estate investing, and I’m educating myself right now so I can better understand the process of making money in real estate. I listen to the Bigger Pockets podcast and have attempted some lease option deals in the past, but my experience in real estate has mostly been limited to fix and flip, remodeling work for vacation rentals, (building built in bunk beds for example) and remodeling in general. I have a solid reputation among those I work with and a small network of people I can look to for information and advice that are active in making money in real estate. I feel obligated to learn more so I can be a savvy investor which is why I’m interested in this website and the forum it provides.
