USAF Veteran, Full-time Mechanical Engineer working in the Propulsion Mechanical sector of the Locomotive Transportation Industry. I have started my entrepreneurial journey in 2018, getting into a few small business side hustles like AirBNB and Website Building/Blogging. I just got bit by the real estate bug late 2019. My experiences with real estate so far has been buying Single Family Residential Home in 2012, which I've lived in for about 5 years - I've turned that into an AirBNB back in 2018. But as Las Vegas has changed its laws on Short Term Rentals, I ended up selling the property. I am currently investing in Indianapolis and other small cities in the Indiana market. My Real Estate goal is to build a buy and hold rental portfolio by focusing on fixer upper homes to BRRRR, but not opposed to a more turnkey model as long as returns fit my criteria. My 5 Year Plan is to build a rental portfolio of close to 100 units by the end of 2026. Right now I am planning to keep buying SFHs and small multifamily homes, and once I have built up some experience with some BRRRRs and small flips, I plan on getting into Small Apartment Complexes after that!
