My wife and I inherited our first non-primary residence property last year and we've decided to make it our first rental property. In addition to my wife, I have an investing partner who is a Lincoln-based real estate agent and property manager. I'm learning as much as I can and experimenting with strategies with the goal of turn our first property into the beginning of a full-fledged real estate business that will provide some passive income to take some of the revenue pressure off of our non-real estate business interests. We hope to go from one door to 4-5 doors by the end of 2019.
