Sean Markin

Hello. I’m Sean. I’m new to real estate but looking to leverage my fully paid off property and some investments in an SBLOC to get into multi-family and apartments. I live in Los Angeles but am open (and likely prefer) to invest outside of California. I’m currently looking at TX, NC, TN, and AZ. I also have dual EU citizenship and am open to International investments as well. My background is in finance, specifically derivatives, so I naturally gravitate towards creative financing and deal structuring. Lately, I’ve become fascinated by deal analysis, and I am attempting to use data science and ArcGIS to more accurately model ARV estimates and predict the path of progress. More recently, my experience is in strategic marketing and product management. Initially, this was for large-cap companies, but more recently for non-profits where I have a love for their mission. I have a specific passion for education that led me to found a public school in the Pasadena-area. In the past, I’ve done one live-in-flip in my hometown Chicago. My main goal right now is learning and beginning my investing journey. I’m happy to help with deal analysis, web development, and strategic marketing, with the caveat that while I’ve done all of those things for Fortune 500 companies, I’m new in applying those skills to real estate.
