(5/6/2017) like 98% of new real estate investors I found myself here because of Rich dad. I bought a junk pile of a house a couple years ago and rehabbed it with the intention of eventually selling it and moving to a nicer home, thankfully i found BP and then semi-educated myself in real estate and realized I have a perfect first rental! When I'm not wrapped up in all things real estate I'm the fiancé of a great lady, a motocross racer and avid supercross fan (go Martin brothers!) and I also like to think of myself as a golfer but you'd have to be the judge of that. Add me as a colleague and let's swap audible libraries or ask me any and all questions drywall! (9/24/2017) we analyzed many fixer uppers this summer and almost were involved in opening a restaurant with a couple of savvy investors but unfortunately it fell through. (12/28/2017) I'm closing on my first SFR tomorrow! I also am pursuing a duplex I found off market from an out of state owner. crossing my fingers! (01/10/2019) I can't tell you how glad I am that I started a journal of sorts here. I am now a commercial agent and own 15 units, including a duplex that I am house hacking. I'm looking to purchase a 12-24 unit apartment this year, and become efficient as a property manager. Dear future self, don't be a too harsh, i'm doing the best I can.
