Sonja Hunter

I'm Sonja, a residential real estate developer. I have a background in interior design and got a taste for development working with an interior design firm in San Francisco. Ever since then I have wanted to make a career in flipping houses. I love all aspects of the design and build process but I am especially excited by kitchens, bathrooms and energy efficiency. I got my real estate license in CA last year as the first step towards realizing my dream. But did my first flip in Dallas, TX where things are more affordable for me right now. I have decided to start building my buy and hold portfolio up as it fits better with the life my husband and I are planning in the next few years. I welcome all advice on both flipping houses and buying and holding! I read both of J Scott's books (The Book on Flipping Houses and The Book on Estimating Rehab Costs). I am so appreciative that they both exist because they have given me so much useful information.
