Stephen Tanquary

I'm a licensed CPA working in business and individual taxation at a firm in Brea, CA and my wife is a high school pastor at a local church. We are both 28 and living in Fullerton, CA. We've been married for 3 years and are excited to start investing in short-term vacation rentals! I found Bigger Pockets several years ago. Since then I have been reading books, listening to podcasts, and trying to absorb as much information as possible! I am naturally very timid and scared to take risks, but my wife is NOT. So we make a great team! Our ultimate goal is to achieve financial freedom by replacing our income with a mix of short term and long term real estate rental investments. Our big "WHY" is that we want both want to be active and present parents in the future, and we don't want to spend our time in the 9-5 when we can be spending our time loving each other and loving others!
