I am an active investor and businesswoman. I focus on Trust Deed Investing in the California market, although I work with licensed brokers across the country. I specialize in funding short to medium term loans secured on non owner occupied residential and commercial real estate. The loans I fund include residential fix & flips, construction, and short term bridge loans. My advantage is that I can close quickly, offer an aggressive loan structure, and finance transactions that don't meet the strict criteria of a traditional lender. I am also a Realtor for Carrington Real Estate in Del Mar, CA (CalBRE#01964815). My niche is working with the military (mostly Navy and Marine Crop) here in San Diego. I show them how to invest their housing allowance rather then use it for rent. I also have had success as an apartment investor focusing in the areas of Cleveland, OH, Metro Detroit (my hometown) and Indianapolis, IN. I have had success finding the treasures in those areas and marketing/wholesale to buyers looking to rehab or hold. Oh... and I also have a day job doing contracting work for the DoD on the B2, F35 and F22 programs. Hence my niche market in RE sales. In my free time I like to network (yes, I really do!), run, golf, yoga, check out the many local craft breweries in San Diego and occasionally find time to sleep. :-)
